3D model, Simple Flash Animaton, Signs
July 6th, 2008Some of what I’ve been doing lately. Here is a 3D model for some hair care products, click here to see fly-around animation:

Next, a simple Flash animation for a wireless company, click here to see the flash. This is a still detail from the Flash:

Nothing Sacred: Impeach Obama
June 13th, 2008While Barack Obama appears by far the lesser of evils in the upcoming election, I can’t resist having a little fun at the expense of his cult of personality. It strikes me that anticipating his election, and in keeping with his message of change, someone should get in on the ground floor of the Impeach Obama bandwagon.
So here are some of the campaign materials we’ll be needing, first of all, a bumper sticker:

And we’ll need a good slogan:

“All the Rage” Teeshirt
June 3rd, 2008Here’s teeshirt design done for the good folks at Mad River Farm.
What you see is the rendered design, the pencil proof, and an alternate design.
Rendered: It still needs the company logo along the bottom and a few tweaks.
Click on the image for an enlargement.
Rough: Here’s another rough for the Mad River Farm jams and jellies teeshirt. I toyed with different phrases to go with “Jam it!”:
“Save some for the boss!’;
“Give someone a ration!”;
“Whisper sweet nothings!”
I settled on this somewhat wordier version, “…all the rage.”
The company logo will go below the artwork. Personally, I’d just leave the slogan “Jam it!” all alone, but it’s probably a bit too attitudinal.

Alternative: About the only current work I’m at liberty to post is a project designing teeshirt art for Mad River Farm, local purveyors of jams, jellies and sauces. This is just the first rough design. Of course the company logo will go below as part of the final. I’m going for something whimsical, such that that people won’t feel so much like they’re wearing an advertisement. The design will appear on a small run of summer promotional teeshirts. Here’s the first rough:
